Zhuhai College of Science and Technology (ZCST) is a private college formerly known as Zhuhai College of Jilin University.

The university is located in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. It is a private full-time general undergraduate institution of higher learning organized by Zhuhai Huazheng Education Investment Co., Ltd. and approved by the Ministry of Education. It is selected as the first batch of general undergraduate institutions in Guangdong Province to grant master’s degree.

 

Job Responsibility

Foreign teachers from English countries are expected to undertake courses English conversation, English writing, IELTS preparation course.

 

Salary and Welfare

  1. Salary: Salary shall be given according to the full set of Foreign Experts’ Salary Standards of the school.For special experts, salary shall be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
  2. Free housing: The school provides free housing with furniture, bedding, kitchen ventilator, natural gas stove, TV, refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioner and other household appliances.
  3. Preferential prices for lunch: The faculty canteen provides buffet lunch on weekdays at only 3 RMB per person.
  4. Free facilities: The school provides free use of campus facilities, such as faculty activity center, swimming pool, gym, tennis court, badminton court, etc.
  5. Free physical examination: The school provide free regular physical examination yearly.
  6. Free training: Chinese refresher courses, tennis courses, yoga courses, Taijiquan courses and so on are provided without charges.

  8. Reimbursement of air tickets: Air tickets for family visits are provided once a year.
  9. Insurance: The school will purchase medical & accident injury insurance for every foreign expert during the contract period.

Labor Policy

  1. The school will pay extra fees if teachers work overtime.
  2. During the term of the contract, no other labor service matters other than Zhuhai College of Jilin University shall be undertaken.
  3. Schools respect the personal religious beliefs of foreign experts, it is forbidden to engage in missionary activities, recruiting believers inside and outside campus, or publish religion-related photographs and videos on the internet.

Traffic

  1. The school is only 10 minutes’ drive from the Zhuhai Airport.
  2. It is convenient to take the Airport Express line on campus station to Gongbei Port and Jiuzhou Port. It takes only five minutes to walk from Gongbei Port to Macau, and about 70 minutes by boat from Jiuzhou Port to Hong Kong. Since the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge at the end of 2018, it takes only 30 minutes to travel from Zhuhai to Hong Kong.
  3. Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity Railway has been opened. It takes only 40 minutes to reach Guangzhou directly from Zhuhai.

About The City – Zhuhai

Zhuhai is in the southwest Pearl River estuary in Guangdong Province, with Hong Kong across the bay in the east and Macao adjacent in the south and nearby east.
