My name is Sundus. I have been teaching IEL (Intensive English Lessons), a part of ESL program, in a well-reputed international IB school in Shanghai for past two years. I have completed my 120 hours Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) certification and currently I am halfway through International Post Graduate Certificate of Education (iPGCE) program. As a highly motivated and dedicated educator, I believe that I possess the necessary skills to make a positive contribution at the organization I work. Through the TESOL certification, I have gained valuable experience in teaching English as a second language to students of different ages and backgrounds while the iPGCE program has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of teaching methodologies and pedagogy, which I effectively implement in my classroom. In addition to my teaching experience, I successfully ran summer camps for children based on arts, STEM and cooking activities. This has further allowed me to develop innovative teaching strategies that are significant for 21^st century learning skills catering to different learning styles and interests. I am confident that my enthusiasm for teaching, along with ability to create engaging and positive learning environment, will allow me to make a valuable impact on the academic and personal growth of your students. Having spent more than 4 years in China, I have become intimately familiar with the local environment and the unique needs of children from diverse backgrounds.
